RailsConf 2009 is drawing ever closer and it’s going to be one hell of a show worthy of Vegas glitz and glamour. To let you all get more familiar with who’s going to be talking and what they’ll be talking about, Chad Fowler has been doing a series of presenter interviews:

We’ve also announced some of the keynoters. In addition to yours truly, we’ll have Bob Martin of ObjectMentor, Chris Wanstrath of Github, and Timothy Ferris of 4-hour work week and lifestyle designs rock it out. We’re also going to have a Rails Core panel of some sort.

Figur 17, “den Tiger umarmen” oder “den Tiger in die Berge tragen” ist die erste Figur des zweiten Teils der 37er Form im Yang Style nach Cheng Man Ching.
Von den gekreuzten Händen ausgehend sinken die Hände, man sinkt in den rechten Fuß und dreht den Linken etwas aus. Die Hände trennen sich und der linke Arm holt aus, wobei der linke Fuß zurück und noch weiter eingedreht (eindrehen heißt auf der Ferse zum Körper) wird. Der rechte Arm hängt herab und das Gewicht wird ganz in den linken Fuß verlagert, damit ein Schritt in die rechte hintere Ecke erfolgen kann – linken Fuß nachdrehen. Die sich drehende Hüfte zieht dabei den rechten Arm nach außen und der linke Arm kommt auf Brusthöhe nach vor. Der rechte Arm schwingt weiter nach außen und man setzt sich schon vom Arm zurück zur Ausholbewegung zum “Vogel am Schwanz fassen”. Diese Figur wird nun in der Diagonale ausgeführt und dann folgt noch eine Wiederholung und zwar von der “Peitsche”. Da sie nun ebenfalls in der Diagonale ausgeführt wird, spricht man jetzt von der “diagonalen Peitsche”.

SAN FRANCISCO, March 30, 2009 – The Linux Foundation (LF), the nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux, today announced that credativ has become the newest member of the Linux Foundation.
credativ, an independent consulting and services company focused on free software and open standards, will participate in advancing the Linux Standard Base (LSB), which establishes common standards across the different Linux distributions. Additionally, as one of Europe’s largest employers of Debian developers, credativ has a particular interest in encouraging collaboration focused around Debian development.
